Fontana Beach House and the Fontana Lift Station define one of the most beautiful waterfront parks in the Midwest. This Pavilion Pair creates a sense of order by defining the lakefront and marking the edge of the beach and park.
The building vocabulary was drawn from what the community described as "lakey". A maritime language of docks and piers is reflected in the white stained timbers, slim profiles and cut stone and is topped off by a stainless steel roof. The use of high quality materials achieves a sense of timelessness that allows these contemporary structures to fit within a traditional context.
