Memorial Union is the first student center constructed west of the Mississippi. After a century of additions and remodeling projects, the University requested that Workshop Architects develop a master plan - a plan that would create a magnet for student life.

The vision includes a new student center, bridging across campus and creating a link between all student life areas. The design presents a defining building for the University and surrounding community.
